Stephanie Armer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Saratoga Springs, New York. She has experience with working in local emergency departments doing crisis evaluations, as well as experience in substance abuse treatment and foster care prevention. Additionally she has served as a clinical director for a day treatment center.
Stephanie works with clients to help them recognize that their feelings and emotions are both valid and real. She uses a mindful and somatic approach with individuals to help create awareness around how their attempts to suppress, manage, and control emotional experiences and feelings can often create challenges. Once these challenges are addressed, Stephanie works with clients to feel empowered and capable of making and creating values-based actions that help enable mindful-value living.
Stephanie holds a dual undergraduate degree in human development and elementary education from Wheelock College in Boston, Massachusetts, and a Master’s Degree in social work from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado.
